  VILLAGE OF CHURCHVILLE/TOWN OF RIGA
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE

The Village of Churchville and Town of Riga have formed a committee to review and suggest amendments to the Current Comprehensive Plan adopted by both municipalities in January, 1988.  The meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Municipal Building at 23 East Buffalo Street.  Interested residents are encouraged to attend.

In May of 2003 a survey was mailed to residents.  In May of 2004, the survey was complied.  Copies are available in their entirety at the Town and Village Offices.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The Economic Development Committee meets monthly at the Village Office.  Committee members are:  Anne Taylor, Chair, Gil Budd,  Joseph Carr, Jr., Mark Majewski, Diane Pusateri, Mayor Don Ehrmentraut, Trustee Shawn Casey, Trustee Scott Cullen, Al Cullen and Marge Murphy, President of the Churchville Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of the committee is to

•  evaluate the economic well being of our community 
•  review the Village's current economic status
•  to determine what the needs are for our community to encourage more business, 
   industry and people to settle in or visit Churchville

New members are welcome.  Please check the calendar for meeting dates.

ETHICS COMMITTEE

Members of the Ethics Committee are:  Richard Frew, Arthur Lettie and Carol Pelo.
