WILKINS RV EXPANDS OPERATIONS WITH A SECOND LOCATION. A NEW SHOWROOM OPENS IN ROCHESTER AREA

CHURCHVILLE, NY – Wilkins RV, with its corporate headquarters and first showroom located in Bath, NY, announces it will celebrate the Grand Opening of its newest location at 111 S. Main St. in Churchville, NY - just off Interstate 490 at exit 3 - just 15 miles west of downtown Rochester. Mr. Brian Wilkins, President and owner of Wilkins RV made the announcement.

“While the Southern Tier has always been our home, we have many customers in the Rochester area. That’s why we decided to open a new store in Rochester. It will allow us to reach this community more easily and put us in a position to better serve our customers,” Mr. Wilkins said.

Wilkins RV will celebrate the Grand Opening - beginning with a ribbon cutting celebration on Friday March 9, 2012 at 3PM. Mayor Nancy Steedman will join Mr. Wilkins for the ribbon cutting. The Grand Opening Sales Event will continue until Monday March 19, 2012.

Mr. Wilkins continued, “we will maintain an inventory of over 125 new and pre-owned RV’s at the Rochester location with over 400 RV’s available between the two stores. Our new store includes 6 full service bays, an extensive selection of parts and accessories and an experienced service and parts staff.

“On both Saturdays of the Grand Opening celebration, we will be offering six different RV lifestyle seminars. Anyone visiting us during the Grand Opening will have the opportunity to enter to win $1,000 cash, and no purchase is necessary. On Sunday March 18th at 1pm, a special presentation will be made by Mr. James McCauley of Camp Good Days. He will be discussing the history of Camp Good Days and their involvement in the community. Wilkins RV will make a $100 contribution to Camp Good Days for every RV sold during the Grand Opening Event,” Mr. Wilkins said.

Wilkins RV has based its reputation on family pride and customer satisfaction for three generations. The dealership was founded by Charles Wilkins, Brian’s grandfather in 1936 as an auto-detail shop in Hornell, NY. Brian bought the business from his father, Ronald Wilkins in 2004. In 2006, Wilkins RV moved into a new state-of-the-art facility just off Interstate 86 in Bath, NY. For 75 years, Wilkins RV has experienced continuous growth, now employing over 70 people. Wilkins RV is always seeking motivated individuals to join their team.
